Upcoming Litter
Moira
(FO, P1, PD1, HD-normal, ED-normal, DM-clear) was bred to
Cero Jivo in November 2016. She delivered her pups
on January 5th, 2017.
She has now been RETIRED
Moira has great nerve and a true civil side. We
have been extremely pleased with the litters that she
has produced, showing solid temperaments, toughness, and
excellent working ability. While we are by no
means taking away from the males that she has been bred
to (as she has been bred to several very nice males),
she has consistently produced some excellent working
dogs with superb temperaments, strong drives, nice "off"
switches but also some true toughness that is hard to
find even in many of your working dogs today.
These pups are expected
to have large bone, excellent heads, good drives, and
true toughness but without the handler hardness you
often fine with many of the truly hard dogs.
INFORMATION ON THE PARENTS:
Moira is a nice working female with
good drives and desire. She is a very VERY
nice sport dog who is more than willing to commit
fully to the work, but, the best thing about her is
that she can turn it off too. She is very
solid in her nerve - she doesn't let anything bother
her much. She is GREAT with people showing no
hesitation around strangers. She is also
trustworthy with kids as well. The one
complaint that I can see with her is that she is NOT
great with other dogs. She is a very dominate
female and likes to "throw her weight around".
(And, she is a pretty good sized female.) We
will be carefully watching for this trait in her
pups but as of yet, they seem to be very social and
good with other dogs. We are carefully
choosing males for her that are NOT Dog Dominant.
